  •  Students remember to show pride in your school by picking up after yourself in the cafeteria.  Any students found throwing food will be sent home.  And you will not be allowed to participate in extracurricular activities such as afterschool games and school dances.


  • Sharks, if you have had your book for more than two weeks it is overdue.  Drop off those overdue books and check out the new books on the shelves today.  Late slips will go home this week.

     

  • Great Job 8th graders! You won the spirit contest on Friday!  If you dressed up and completed a spirit ticket on Friday, you will receive a donut. Your 1st period teachers will give you your ticket back today. Bring your ticket to the stage during lunch today in order to receive your donut.  Nice work, 8th graders!

     

  • This past weekend our Blaker-Kinser wrestling team went to Mae Hensley for their tournament of Mayham. Our boys and girls did an awesome job. All 9 of our wrestlers place in their weight brackets. Austin Melman took 2nd, Michael Kondratyuk, Dominic Betancourt and Hernani Espinola took 3rd, Lalayne Valenzuella, Mahkai Smith, Vicent Lopez-Rojas and Able Irizarry took 4th, and Kael Cueto took 5th. Please congratulate them as you seem they on campus today. Way to go BK Sharks.

  • Students, if you still have your Athletic chocolate fundraiser today is the last day.  Turn in the fundraiser to Mr. Saelee during your PE period.

 

  • This week is the Physical Fitness Test in PE.  The test measures your overall strength, endurance, agility, and flexibility.  Do your best!
